says in the book of Revelations chapter
22:18 and 19 that it's dangerous to do so. I have a lot of friends and relatives in the Apostolic Christian Church
and pray that they search the scriptures to see if they will get this revelation. I pray that they do.
In Malachi Chapter 4:5-6, I read
that we were to have an end time Prophet that would turn the hearts of the children to their Fathers - to the first
century Fathers. While I lived in Toledo, someone told me that there was man in Jeffersonville, Indiana that had
a ministry like a Prophet's. Then when we moved to Florida, this man was at a Full Gospel meeting in one of the
big hotels and we went to hear him. My daughters, my Sister Em, Lydia Kaehr and Mary Gerber all went. He was a
man of God; humble, uneducated, but had all the qualifications of a Prophet. He is no longer living, he was killed
in an auto accident, but he left many sermons and tapes for us to hear and study. His name was William Marrion
Branham. His sermons and tapes can be obtained from the Spoken Word Publications, PO Box 888 Jeffersonville, Indiana,
47130. On the day of Pentecost they only received the earnest of the Spirit, but we are promised to be adopted
and receive the fullness of God's Spirit. So the portion we receive as they received on the day of Pentecost (Acts
2:4) will hold us till we receive the fullness and are adopted. Hopefully, that will be in the near future.
Yesterday I listened to the sermon that Brother John Larbi preached on May 5, 1996: "Brother Branham, a prisoner
of Jesus Christ". It was a tremendous blessing to me. It has given me a deeper revelation of the soon coming
Adoption for the Bride. We have been truly blessed at our "End Time Gospel Church" with two dedicated
preachers, Brother Tommy Dillard and his assistant, Brother John Larbi.
Brother Tommy has stood at his post
of duty for thirty years in Fort Wayne, Indiana and Linn Grove, Indiana. Brother Larbi has been with us for five
years driving from Indianapolis every Sunday weather permitting. Brother Larbi is from Ghana, Africa. We never
met him when we were in Africa in 1972. We are so thankful our paths finally crossed five years ago here in Indiana.
Brother Branham prayed for the sick and they were healed. King George of England heard of him and invited him to
come to England to pray for him. After Brother Branham prayed, King George was healed. He went around the world
seven times praying for the sick, raising the dead. He was a humble man and had a deep love for people of all races.
Being the end time Prophet promised to us in Malachi chapter 4:5-6, he also had the revelation of the mysteries
of the Bible. He opened the seven church ages, the seven seals and all the mysteries that were still unrevealed
to the Church.

I didn't know that my sister Marie had a stroke and was in the hospital until she had been there for a week. Finally
I got a call that she was in bad condition and that I should come down. I went as fast as I could. I picked up
Freida and we went together. The nurse said she was in a coma and wouldn't know us. I talked to her hoping she
could hear me but the nurse wanted to give me a hard time telling me that she couldn't hear me. I repeated to Marie
what I had told her and Em in Toledo about the Holy Spirit. I told her that everything was true and I read scriptures
confirming what I said. Marie never opened her eyes but one big tear rolled down her cheek and I knew she heard
me. The next morning she was gone. I was so thankful I could still be with her that one last time. We weren't only
sisters; we were also dear friends. I love her and I'm looking forward to seeing her again.
After I left the Apostolic Christian Church, my old high school friend, Ernestine Baumgartner, Clif Baumgartners'
wife, saw me and ask me why I had left the Apostolic Christian Church. I told her to get her Bible and I showed
her in her Catholic Bible Acts 2:4 and Acts 2:38. They were exactly the same as in my Bible but they don't practice
either scripture.
The Catholics were the ones that changed the form of baptism to Father, Son and Holy Ghost instead of the Lord
Jesus Christ. After that we were together often and would compare our beliefs. They interpret Matthew 16:17, 18
to mean that Saint Peter was the rock that the church was built on. Far be it from God to build his church on a
man that would soon deny Him. They believe that Peter was their first pope. In Matthew 16:17, Jesus says that it
is on revelation that His church is built. They also confess their sins to a man each week. Jesus blood was shed
once for all our sins. If we receive His Holy Spirit baptism as He promised to those that believe His word, He
will give us His power to overcome sin and be free of condemnation. That's what His gift of the Holy Ghost is.
How much plainer can He make it for us? Now I know what is meant by the two repentances, one to life and one to
death. With the one unto death, they can keep repenting over and over and never have victory over sin because they
haven't accepted Jesus promise of the baptism of the Holy Ghost that will set them free.
During the time we lived in Toledo when I was having these spiritual experiences, Harold was having a lot of problems
with the teamsters union in Detroit. Hoffa, the man who was the head of the teamsters union was giving the truck
companies a real headache and it affected Harold. At the same time Harold's vice president of Dundee Truck Line,
a Mr. Klink, was also causing him a lot of trouble. So when Harold had a nervous breakdown and was in a sanitarium
several months, it was natural for our friends and relatives to assume this was all because of the testimony that
I had given the Toledo church. After Harold
returned from the sanitarium, we decided to sell Dundee Truck Line and move to Miami, Florida, which we did. Harold
bought the franchise to sell Chris Craft boats on Miami Beach. We bought a nice home in South Miami and lived there
for six years.
While we were there we met Brother and
Sister Brunk. They were in their late sixties and were from the old time Mennonite church but had a testimony like
ours. He had a bad case of arthritis, which was healed by prayer. We had a lot in common. They invited our family
to go to Haiti. They had a mission over there that he founded. Harold said he couldn't get away but the girls and
I could go. So, we went over and we were there a few days when we met another missionary, Brother Tommy Dillard.
It wasn't very long that my daughter, Mary Lou and Tommy had eyes only for each other. I think it was maybe love
at first sight.
We had an enjoyable time but had to stay
longer because of Pan American Airlines going on strike. I don't think Brother Tommy and my daughter minded at
all. I believe they considered it an answer to prayer. When we finally did leave, Brother Tommy was standing saying his good byes to us and then
when we were walking toward the plane he yelled, "I'll be seeing you guys". No truer words were ever
spoken. At Christmas time he visited us in Miami and proposed marriage. Mary accepted and their wedding date was
set for June twenty-second nineteen sixty-three. A year from the day they met in Haiti.
Mary Lou and Lois were baby sitting
a Jewish family's children when their Grandmother, Sister Biren, came to visit them from New York City. We met
her and she told us she attended an International Church in New York City. After comparing notes, we discovered that we believed the same way. She told
us that there was a man that held meetings in New York City that was a Prophet. She had followed his meetings from
New York to the West Coast. On the way back, she decided to miss the Birmingham, Alabama meetings and come straight
to her daughter in Miami.
Brother Tom and Sister Mary had just
returned from the West Coast where they had taken a dental course in preparation for their mission work to Africa.
Brother Tom met Sister Biren and she told him about Brother William Branham, the Prophet. Brother Tom told us that
his Mother, Sister Clara had gone to his meetings one time and he told her who she was and what her health problems
were. After he prayed for her she was healed. Brother Tom was excited and wanted to go to the Birmingham meetings
but Sister Mary Lou had too much to do to prepare for Africa. She called Chuck, who was stationed in Georgia and asked him if he could meet Brother
Tom in Birmingham. They met and they both attended the meetings. Brother Tom was rebaptized in the Name of Jesus
Christ, and when he came back to Miami he rebaptized Mary Lou, Lois Ann and I in our swimming pool. We had been
baptized originally in the titles Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Now were baptized in Christian baptism as we should
have been in the first place according to Acts 2:38.
When Brother Tom and Sister Mary were ready to leave for Africa, they went to New York City and before leaving
they attended the New York Church and met Brother Coleman and his family. They are special and we have been friends
for many years now. We are like family, Family of God.
Brother Tom and Sister Mary Lou went to Chad, Africa, for several years and when they came back they started raising
a family. They had Jeannine, Joe, and Rebekah. We bought the old bank building in Linn Grove and had a chapel on
the first floor and a big apartment on the second floor that they lived in.
Lois, Chuck, and I lived in Bluffton
across from Heyerly's Market on Main Street. We lived there six years and really liked the old house. When Brother
Toms had another call to go to Africa, I told them I would like to go and help with the children. Chuck and I were
planning to leave after Brother Toms got settled which wasn't until March of nineteen seventy-two. In the meantime,
I had an auction and sold most of my furniture but kept the house. The price for the house was not right at the
auction, so I didn't sell it then. Chuck and I lived at the bank building but would go into Bluffton and packed
seventeen, fifty-five gallon barrels full of supplies to send to Africa for Brother Toms. I had both of my feet operated on and convalesced in the Linn
Grove bank building and at the home of Freida and Kenny Neuenschwander before I left in March. They invited me
to come to their home, which I appreciated so much. Our home on South Main Street came in handy to pack and store
the barrels we later shipped to Brother Toms. It was a good thing we did it that way. By then they knew what they
needed there and what they couldn't buy in Ghana.
When Brother Tom's were traveling into other countries, I would stay with the children. Jeannine was in an Afro-American
kindergarten and we called Joe, Jodie when he was a little boy. One time he preached me a sermon about Jesus sleeping on the boat when there was a bad
storm on the Sea of Galilee. It was so sweet when he held up his hand and said, "Peace be still," and the storm stopped. The children took
turns going with their parents in the motor home to other countries and the other two would stay with me. Chuck
would go with Brother Toms' and if I needed help there were other missionaries that I could call. Brother Quarty
and Brother Victor generally checked on us to see if we needed their help. It was a real blessing to me to be able
to experience living in Africa.
I love the black people. I love their singing. My friend and spiritual mother, |
